ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

My mech used a saw-zall sort of deal, and just cut that bastard up. I'm sure you could do it with a dremel, but its kinda awkward using 1 inch cutting discs to try to cut through exhaust piping, especially since you have to hold it at a 90 degree angle to the cutting surface. There are quicker ways, like the afore-mentioned saw-zall.

My recommendation, having learned from my mistakes, have it done right the first time. My shit looks like ghetto style, b/c we just rushed through it and got it on, when I saw the cat was on crooked, I just said f it, because I wanted to try my new exhaust so badly.

Just do it right the first time, be a pro.

lol so i just took a dremel to my cat .. 2 hours later . and like 18 cutting discs (small 1 inch discs) later.. i got my cat off.. woot woot!. now all i gotta do is cut off all the excess welding blobs and then i can put my extra cat on it. . then drive it to my girlfriends house and swap my exhaust with her lil bro's exhaust. .. that's when i'm gonna have to bust out the PB blaster and my ghetto tourque bar(2 dollar metal bar that is suppose to be a towel hanger)
.. . I am actually in a rush (my car is totaled out, so insurance is coming to pick it up), and there really is no need to put my cat back on asap. aslong as i got my exhaust free i'm happy. right now i have no cat, and no pipe to connect it to the rest of the exhuast piping.. i turned on my car, and DAMN!! that shit was loud! lol. i'm driving to home depot in the morning to grab me some more dremel discs. Then i'm driving to school.. hahaha god the drive on the freeway is going to be so annoying
