I was wondering if it really were necessary to get a camber kit for a drop. I have heard that going and asking a dealership to set the toe would be good enough, but I just want to make sure for future reference. Thanks!

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

Its not 'necessary', but the more you drop, the more the tires will use from the inside
and when you'll get tired of paying for new tires cause they'll use too fast, you'll probably end up ordering a camber kit, so I suggest you to go for it.
Personnaly, I only needed one for the front, and its worth it, its not too expensive and you'll save money on tires

Things ive noticed
1. Im lowered on sportlines
2. My aftermarket 17in rims are pretty wide and them tires lasted less than 10k miles
3. Put my stock rims and tires on and 5k miles later no tireware what so ever !
leaves me thinking that maybe the wide tires and low stiff sidewalls have little give so what camber is there will wear the tires faster, compaired to the regular tires that have flex to them. But anyhow i got the ingalls balljoint camber kit now and it does bang a little but its all good.
