Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Gauges won't work

    I swaped in the f22b into my car, ditched the ac, power steering, and cruise control, I relocated my battery to the trunk installed a lightned flywheel, new clutch. my car starts, idles, runs, drives fine. my problem is that the gauges don't work tach, speedo, fuel gauge, engine temp, neither does my automatic seatbelts, the power windows don't work unless I bipass the relay but even then only the driver goes up and down. please help this is driving me nuts.

      what grounds should I check just on the inside? because I know the engine grounds are all fine because i made new ones are there any grounds under the dash or maybe under the hood for the interior electrictronics because I'm straight up lost as to why they dont work.

        could it be the intergrated control unit? because it ties into the power window relay and gauges?

          did u check ur fuses, there is a fuse for all the guages.
          What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

          You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

            Yes I checked all the fuses, I'm going to look in the fuse box, because I opened the integrated circut and it looked fine, no burns, discoloration of the soder, no broken, burned, or damage on the peices, so I'm thinking i can rule it out.

              Not to hijack your thread or anything, but all my guages work except the fuel gauge, is there a seperate fuse for that? and its at empty not full

                did u check the ones that are missing? haha i did that one time, i checked em all and found that one was missing...it was the isntrument cluster fuse.

                  Check your fuel sending unit I think there is a fuse or somethin for that I forgot. As for checkin fuses you take em out and check to see if they are blown? Usually it doesnt lv much physical evidence you gotta pull it out and check that bar to see if its one piece or if its blown if not cut somewher.

                    hahaha I'm dumb I guess at one point and time either my friend jeff or his bro joe took out the #1 fuse (10 amp) and so I pluged it in and now gauges work and such but the only thing is passenger side window doesn't work, On either switch but thats no biggy that I can Figure out, but now I'm putting in my black carpet in and it looks good. I'll post it up when I'm done. Thanks guys.

                      haha ur not dumb, u were lookoing for things that was there, and not looking for something that wasnt there. lol im an installer at circuit city and i completley know how it feels lol

                        WTF..... The cazy thing is my gauges for RPM and MPH do not work. Turns and fuel ect are doing okay. Also my Pass side window will not let up. This is some crazy shit. Ohh.... Now my dang seat belts will not let back and that on both sides of my 91 coupe..... PS: Help
