Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    any free mods ?

    I am new to the site and have been into DSM's for a while but now i have to drive something reliable. so i have a 93 coupe ex .But so far i have a cone style air filter in my car . and i was wondering if there are any other mods i can do that would cost me near nothing. i saw something with the iat sensor, Can someone explain this. If anyone knows of anything let me know.

    you could take all the stuff in the trunk out to save weight. if you can tollerate hot weather then take out your a/c. and if your engine is starting to become weak put some engine restore in it or some z-max.

      Index your sparkplugs for an extra hp or two...

      Give your car a good tune up, as well as a valve adjustment.

      The car is 13 years old, so regaining some lost performance will be better than trying to find new.


      Weight reduction, as mentioned by tunerman, is the next best thing. Our cars are heavy for the amount of power they make. Drop some weight, and that power will be more useful. By removing AC, Power Steering, ABS (if you feel comfortable doing so), and anything else you can do without will make your car a good deal lighter.

        like they said you could drop some weight and also if you wanted to i kno this is for free mods but free up some air and give your car an aftermarket intake to go with your come filter and a muffler EBAY IS MAGIC like 50-60 and you could have yourself an extra 10-15 hp easy
