ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Go with Sprint Blues...seriously...I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "wow, I wish I had got a higher drop"...it's always "wow, I shouldn't have got crappy Ebay coils". Sprints= the best of both worlds, although your handling probably suffers.

ok, im a bit confused about this whole thread... dropzone coilovers? slamed cb7's? tisk...

dont bother installing those... please re-direct them to the dumpster, your dropzone SLEEVE-overs will blow your stock oem shocks in 3 days, the fake powder coating will peel, and the rust will quickly follow, the sleeves will strip, and you will find yourself back at squar one, saying "i never got any real preformance from them anyway" their nosiy, ***, made by a fake retail company, whos invested $0.00 in researching the product, and those saggy, gutless mystery springs, will slope the first pot-hole you hit taking with it your entire front bumper, and at this point, and only this point will you remember this poster.... and youll hear the words "dumpster".... see how bad and horibly wrong of an idea this can be... please dude, listen to me, save yourself, if not for you, for the car... get yourself some real coilovers!
                      me... talking to service-writers
                      the look on their face
                      moments after that conversation

there! i know i feel better

I have been leaning more and more that way lately. Thinking it would be worth it to sell the coilovers and go with eibach lowering springs. How much did you pay for them approx?? Any pics? Where did you get them?? online?? Let me know.

I have not read any of the posts in this thread, so bare with me.

My honest opinion (and I am a BIG SKEPTIC when it comes to the CB7), the lowest I would go is 2.5 Front + 2.5 Rear. Beyond this, you are simply just trying to look slammed. I have learned many lessons with my CB7 (not personally, but learned from my '89 LXi Accord). Slammed looks good PARKED. Other than that, it blows nuts. Go with something sporty but effective (handling). The CB7 chassis is a badass example of what can be done with the right plans in mind.

My personal suggestion is 2.25 Front + 2.0 Rear with some KYB/Koni shocks. Save Save Save and you shall be rewarded with badass handling and an agressive stance.

Just my .02, but from my experience, it is worth alot more. Good luck.

Personally, yeah a slammed stance looks dope and drives okay but is not very practical. I have an H&R Sport drop (1.5 R + 1.75 F) Check the sig, it looks good but still clears all speed bumps and wierd angled driveways without scraping!
