ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    F22B swap (question)

Hey just got a quick question i recently swaped a f22b DOHC-NON_V-TEC into a 91' accord ex. the car has a manual transmittion and is curantly running off the stock ecu. i've been told that the ecu i need is a p31 just wondering if this is correct. don't want to buy something without knowing for sure. if anyone can help me out that would be great. i was also told it is one of the hardest ecu's to find. i'm sure i will find it but if anyone knows where i might get one that would really help me out.

You need a P39 and since your a manual it will be pretty hard to find a real 5spd P39 ECU.

you need the p39 ecu.. and you can probably just call around to the places that have the f22b and ask if they have an ecu that they can get you. that would be the simplest way to find one.. not cheap. go here and find out some important info on this ..

Try ebay. Once in awhile they will have manual P39's.

I look there every day. i have another 91' accord lx automatic that i put the same motor in about 2 years ago. the car runs perfect off the stock ecu but i know its not getting all its power either, i don't really care that much cause its just my daily driver but is the correct ecu for that the same just an automatic?

Yes, it's also a P39. Just built different inside because of the Auto/Manual. But umm if I end up using my chipped p06 i'll sell you this manual P39 if you'd want? Just gona be awhile probably lol.

Ya, just let me know. I'm not in any real big hurry, the car runs perfect right now. Just want to see what its really capable of.
