ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

^^^i totally concure with Deev. you will be much better w/ the end result if you just do the entire swap. but remember, if you gonna boost the H22, your gonna have to build it up to hold the PSI's. but deffinatly do the "search" and make sure to do all your "research" b4 you go yankin anything out. do want any un-necessary down time due to the lack of "research".

you know we have been telling the pro and cons and what we think but the the real question what are you looking to spend and what are you goals for your car? I saw you said speed but do you what top end or accerateion. If you dont know what you really want or are not sure what you want do this...save your cash put it in a jar and hide it in your yard so you wont be as tempted to spin it in the bank.

With that you could boost it since those can use the same turbo mani's as the f22a engines (of course with a lil drilling) and flow better than our stock heads. I'm planning of going to the DOHC side soon with a head swap as well, once I have the money.
can you clarify what you mean? you meant h23 or f22b head onto the f22a block, or h23 head on f22b block? if its the latter, why would you even do that? thats like the same engine all over again, just with lower compression this time.

          that was on H-T
but i think that you will be happier with the h23 head and intake mani swap. it will make about the same power, and will be easier, and you wont want to rev it as high. the h22 head flows so well, you will want to over-rev the old f22 block.

unless u plan to boost it then i would just get a full h22.

f22 has super low compression which is great for boost applications
