ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i would go with the 16g cuz that will make power up to like 500whp but will make pretty good power lower to, or just use a 14b and try to stay outa boost but the 16g would be a good choice

at what rpm does a 14b see full boost on an f22? 2500 rpm?

You would want a turbo that would spool late in the rpms for a daily beater for longevity(sp?) purposes. It will help with combustion temps. I am currently looking for a rhb6 from a Isuzu truck. I have looked everywhere on the internet for the a/r size, but I cant seem to find it. I do know however, that the turbo I mentioned begins to spool around 3k and hit full boost by 4k. A member on this forum is using that turbo on his f22b1/f22x hybrid. Just a thought...

What turbo is that? Its not a dsm turbo thats one thing. And if you want to use that you would need a different manifold

Well considering that an H22 is only a four-cylinder, you can't twin turbo it.
You need TWO exhaust openings like a V6 or V8 for twin turbo, and unless you do some crazy modding, I don't see either one of those fitting in. I think one guy is trying to put a J30 V6 in his cb7, but I haven't looked in awhile.

its not impossible, just a waist of time and the turbos would have to be tiny to even spool them.

u can use any turbo u want as long as u can run oil to/from it and into ur throttlebody. all u need is the flange on the turbo to match the one on the manifold. but if its to small u'll spool it to fast and if it to big u might not spool it at all.

def. go with the 16g cuz it will spool later then a 14b and it will bolt right up to what im guessin is u have a dsm mani.

and if ur lookin for a good turbo go with a GT35R or a GT30R their very expensive but if ur serious about ur car there worth it.

what are you shooting for with the h22? as much horsepower as possible or a streetable set up? it dosent sound like you are anyway near ready for a turbo so spare your motor and spend alot of time learning.
