ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

its easy to take the silencer off all it is one or two screws to take of and it take less than a minute to do. when u have the silencer on you wont have much air flo passing through so u might loose a pony or two, but now big deal u wont notice that.

I've found that most silencers rattle around even if they are screwed in really tightly. Most mufflers only have one screw to hold it in, but even ones with 4 have rattled. I had to get mine welded in for it to sound alright.

Though I changed that exhaust out quickly anyways, since I hated the muffler.

Ive got a N1 style catback off ebay ... the price was about what your quoting but shipping killed me to Alaska. The removable silencer never rattled and compaired with it on and off I had more torque at the low end with it on and more at the high end with it off (the silencer that is). The motor makes more torque with more back pressure at the low end of the RPMs and more at the high end with lower back pressure. The cheap ebay catbacks arent tuned for best preformance at both ends like some of the better name brand ones.... if you have a rusted out pipe from the cat to the rear bumper like i did its a better deal than a OEM pipe for sure(theres not alot of junk yards here in Anchorage that carry cars over 10 years old) so i end up special ordering OEM pipes for older imports and they cost near $500 compaired to around $300 for a catback. One note.... old exhaust bolts like to break.... expect to drill out studs with a carbite drill bit and replace with a nut and bolt in a worst case situation.
I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.

you could always just get a cutout, electronic ones run about 120 i think and then you can keep the silent stock muffler and when you want it loud all you have to do is fick the switch
