A well done manual swap

I've seen on accordtuner.com, a write up about swapping auto to manual, but getting more info from that site is like talking to 15yr on aim , has anyone had a successful swap done by them, i already know the prelude tranny has better gearing than accord in performance so thats the tranny im getting

Well i had an auto F22 and im swapping to a manual H23 here in a little bit. I will post it when i get it all done.

whats the diff between the 2 h-motors, is h23 better than the h22

h22-vtec, better flowing head, high comp., frm sleeves etc. good all motor canidate

h23-non vtec, lower comp., iron block, closed deck good boost canidate
Better depends on what u want to accomplish and the depth of your pockets

eh, it still iffy on what that h23 block is made out of. tons say its the same material as the h22, some say other wise. i think the only reason its better for boost than h22 is because of the closed deck block. i agree, they are great boost engines, but i dont think they can handle as much as f22 blocks.

good info, but i meant the tranny, whats better of far as performance, i thought a prelude tranny are all the same, just like the accord's are all the same

Prelude trans arent the same even though the final drive is all similar. You have the choice of LSD or non LSD. JDM and USDM gearing isnt the same.
