Its a test pipe. Some cats are shaped like that but what gives it away is that you can see all the way through it and theres nothing in the way.

not a test pipe, it's a resonator....test pipes are ONLY pipes, that's definitely got holes that absorb sound making it a resonator....and as short as it is, it wouldn't help much....test pipes are ONLY pipes though

yea, in the description it does say resonator...would a resonator make the sound quieter than if it was a stock cat though? or would the stock cat be quieter

No, it's not a test pipe. Look at the pictures; it's pretty obvious. It's a resonator.

It is a resonator. Damn my bad lol I just looked at it at the length and you could see through it lol. Yep that was a wrong on my behalf but as people have mentioned already its a resonator, a very short one. If you want one to make a difference you need one around 18"-22".
