ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    CB7 1993 2.2l random crank no start

    Hello all,

    I need technical help with my CB7 please, it's a 1993 cb7 2.2 l.
The problem is that it cranks but doesn't start, in the mornings it often doesn't start at all, but when I wait some minutes it sometimes starts. Also when I drive the car it drives and revs very normally and never stalls during the drive, just when I for example drive to the gas station or anywhere, and stop the motor it refuses to start again, only after some minutes of waiting, and sometimes it doesn't start at all in that situation.

Does anyone know about such a problem? I had to one get the car be towed away to the garage, and the towing man tried his emergency tricks, he checked the battery and forspark and fuel but he couldn't make it start so it was sent to the garage.

Would be cool if someone could help me!

Main relay is likely your issue. The solder joints get old and are easily affected by temperature etc.

Sorry for the late reply, we checked the main relay and it did have tiny cracks in two solder points on the circuit board and we soldered them, but the next day the car didn't start again so we ordered a new cheap distributor(not original Honda) because we need the car running again asap, and now the car works again, fingers crossed. I hope the car runs well now, if not I will be back Thanks again! I'm happy to have found this forum!

Awesome. Ya only a few things that will cause these start/ no-start conditions. Dist/ignitor, main relay, ....fuel pump (relay). Weird
        too because it's random.
