ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

St suspensions rear anti roll sway bar install help

i can’t understand where this sway bar goes as i’m looking under the cad and there isn’t even one there do i have to modify the subframe becuase there’s no holes to bolt it in and no mounting points on the oem coil overs. The car is a fully stock 92 LX. need help asap please

Only the EXR in Canada and the SE? In the USA had the holes/tabs for the sway bar. Same cars that came with rear disc brakes. (Don't quote me...but I think that's what you are referring to).

Sounds like it would be close to this install - https://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb5/forum/...ay-bar-install
Also #4 just talks about the 17mm bolts that hold the OEM rear sway bar on, which you don't have. So you either have the OEM setup and this is a plug and play or non-OEM and you're doing what the link is i posted.

Would love to see pics of the final result! My bro's is a '91 SE so I think it has a sway bar. Any idea on the size of OEM vs the ST?

I've got a US spec EX and it has rear discs. Not sure if that changed between production years.

Also if your accord does have a sway bar, the stock is 14mm and the st suspensions is 21mm. It was the first mod i did on my accord, Its def worth the 200 bucks. If you decide to buy it hmu with questions on installing it. I spent almost 3 hours tryna understand the instructions lmao.

Awesome! Thanks, the pics are fine, but it looks like the bar is touching the exhaust pipe. Probably only the angle of the photo

Thanks for the info too on bar width, that's a huge difference.

Have you noticed a significant improvement in cornering stability?

The bar has like a milimeter of clearance,i dont know if its becuase of the exhaust being rusted af and bending or if its the actual sway bar. But i saw that the sway bar is supposed to be able to support up to a 3 inch so idk. But when i first installed it, It def made the car feel alot more stable and connected. But I havent really have gotten a good test on like curvy roads nd such. But when i do ill say how it feels.
