ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

You need a block off plate and a chipped ECU. ANd there are quite a few people with h22A.

theres two 12mm nuts holding the EGR valve down, take those off and pull the valve off. youre going to want to cut a piece of metal to cover over the two holes, the round one and the square one. even a rectangular strip across the holes is fine, or you can cut one thats the same shape as the flange so it fits flush. use 888 super high temp copper silicone (any parts store) to make sure its sealed, then bolt the EGR valve back down on top of it, and youre done. leave the valve connected to everything, so the ECU thinks its tehre and working so you dont get a check engine light, but its really not doing anything.

heres what mine looks like, i made it with a dremel:

When it recirculates it distributes unequal flow back inside the IM to the combustion chambers making numbers 3/4 cylinders get a lotta carbon buildup. It was something like that since the EGR uses the number 4 cylinder exhaust to recirculate.

I might do this. I have one question. If the ecu still thinks the egr is working doesn't it still compensate but adjusting fuel for the egr it thinks is still going into the engine?
Is the right way just to pull it out and tell your chipped ecu not to look for it?

i have a block off plate on mine and i bolted the egr valve back and the valve is connected, but i still get the check engine light, wich is the egr (code 12).could
my valve be bad? what i seen is that they use the h22 connecter wich it has wht/blck, grn/wht, red/wht wires connected to wht/blck, grn/wht and yellow/wht wires coming out of the f22 wire harness, are those the right ones or
could some one let me know what the right egr wires from the f22 harness are
