Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Spoiler break light + 3rd party rear deck

    Both my spoiler and 3rd party break lights don’t work. I put a new bulb in the 3rd part deck but it doesn’t work i am wonder if anyone else has a 31.5 spoiler break light. Is the spoiler light the only one that should light up when your car came with this oem option? Mine is a honda spoiler so i expect the leds in it have died since the 31 years that have past. I did find a replacement one on a site that looks like it should fit but i want to make sure that i don’t have any other issues before throwing money at it. All of my other break lights are functioning as they should be.

    Are you seeing 12V on the wire for the bulbs?

      That’s a good idea ill check it when i get home from work today. I put a brand new bulb in the rear deck light so i expect it is prob not showing 12v but ill check. I had the break pressed down with a prybar after i replaced the bulb yesterday and it did nothing also the bulb that was already not working looked good but i replaced it as a just in case thing.

        Okay here is the fix. I found out that the 3rd party break light does not work if the car has a 3rd party spoiler break light. I tested everything and found out that 12v was not going to the led spoiler bar. To make a long story short. The wires going to the spoiler were broke apart in the wiring loom going from the trunk down to the pass rear corner break light where they are wired in with a 3 amp fuse. I rewired the spoiler light and put a new 3 amp in line fuse is and its all working perfectly now. But as far as the deck lid 3 party light goes it looks like it is unused if you have the spoiler break light just a fyi if anyone ever needs it in the future. Rewiring wasnt bad just used good wires butt connectors and a 3 amp in line fuse i had laying around and replaced all the old with the new the way it was already wired.

          Sweeet! Fixing a problem someone else should of done better If all the lights on the spoiler work you're in good shape !

            Haha it was when it was first put on they put two zip ties on the trunk bars that where the trunk connects to. They put one on way to tight it was squishing the wires which led it to fail. Im not sure how long its been out for. It had a oem 3 amp fuse which had blew. All the led on the spoiler light up nice and bright!
