ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Brake pedal drops.

TO DAY WHILE DRIVING TO A BARBEQUE: WHEN I PRESSED THE BRAKES, MY PEDAL SUNK TO THE FLOOR. SO BASICLY I HAVE BRAKES WHEN I FIRST PRESS BUT AFTER HOLDING FOR A SEC. IT DROPS TO THE FLOOR. SO I HAVE TO PRESS AND RELEASE REPETIDLY IN ORDER TO STOP QUIKLY. THE BRAKE FLUID WAS A LITTLE LOW, SO I FILLED IT UP BUT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. SOMEONE SUGGESTED IT WAS MY MASTER CYLENDER GOING BAD COULD THIS BE THE CASE?

BTW. Sorry about the caps after i was half way doin typing I noticed.(but im to lazy to rewrite it all)

master cylinder is fucked....should see it leaking or the paint bubbling up around it and if not, then it may be leaking into the brake booster and if you don't fix it asap, you'll have to replace it too
....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.

Or it may not be leaking at all, just it is leaking internally. Replace ASAP.

i have had the same problem that you are experiencing, but mine mysteriously dissapeared and it works fine now, probably gonna fix soon though. it could be a few things leaking booster but most likely it is a leaking seal inside the master cylinder, you could buy a kit to rebuild but i would recommend buying a new one. you can still drive just make sure that when your pedal sinks, pump the brakes a few times to build the pressure back up and you should be fine, or just use the parking brake

        hope this helps

idk..anytime, and for a while after it happened, any time that i braked really hard in my blazer, the ABS would engage, and after that, idk what it was, but it took a while for the braking to come back to normal ability..

It's the master cylinder, no questions asked.
