Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Rods Question?

    I have been looking into rods for my F22A1 bottom end. Are H23A and F22A1 rods the same? I was wondering because I was looking into getting some Crower's. I also was doing some research and heard people talking about crank and rod combinations that would increase displacement, could someone go into detail on these questions for me? Thanks alot!!!!

    youre right with the h23 rods fitting the f22, theyre the same pretty much.

    as far as cranks go, thats gona be a bitch.

      crank and rod combinations that increase displacement is called a stroker kit, but unfortunatly i cant find a place that sells one for the F22A1, because i would like one too, they give ya much more torque over a stock F22A1 because of the longer stroke

        he's prolly not talkin about stroker kits, but rather something along the lines of using an F20 crank in a F22 block or something along the likes of such...a frankenstein build..

          h23 and f22 rods are the same thats why honda gives them the same part number.

            You can also use the crank from the F23. The general rule is that as the stroke increases the rpms decrease and vice-versa.

              f23 crank has 55mm mains while the f22 blocks and 92-97 h22 blocks only have 50mm mains...

                  nope but its also gonna be $250 or more to make it happen.

                    the f already has a pretty long stroke, putting in a h22 crank would destroke it and decrease the displacement. I would just get the crank zero blanced and polished and replace the bearings with oem parts, that is if your gonna tear down your motor
