Stay obd1 if you can...I dont see why not you cant use a p06. Someone was runnign a boosted auto dunno what his management was but its in the video forum.

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

OP read this thread. Notice that I mentioned that D16 (vref) is not even connected on the P06 (at least on the one I used, there are at least two different USDM circuit boards for the P06). Good luck.

See this thread for some additional info. Please feel free to experiment if you want, but I just don't believe a P06 will work.

Can you all describe what you guys mean by 'it works'? I.e. do you mean you get ABSOLUTELY no CELs, no flashing 'D4' ,nor have to stick a key in the shifter release, or do anything weird to make you car drive normally? Do you mean it completely behaves absolutely like stock? Mr. Evo IX, mentions in his post that he wants to 'fix his tcm'; which would indicate that he has some kind of problem. How do you explain the differences between a P06 and Accord ecu as I posted here. For those that have used a P06 in there auto Accord can you explain what wiring changes you made if any and what circuit board your P06 was (just take the top cover off and the code should be along the top edge of the circuit board)? Was everything USDM (car, ecu, tcu)? What year car was it? etc. I would really like to know this info for further Accord knowledge.Last edited by Bird333; 05-30-2006, 02:45 PM.

In this thread here and looking at the dyno video, Accord R33 is driving a 5-speed. Maybe there is a miscommunication here. Maybe you guys think I am talking about using an auto P06 ecu with a manual car. I know that is easily done. I am talking about using an auto P06 with an automatic Accord still using its tcu. This is what I am not seeing how it is possible (meaning working COMPLETELY as if it were stock). The three people I have searched for that said they have done it when I find info on there setup they either 1. Have a 5spd (which may have been an auto before but I have not been able to find the information) or 2. have had some issue with there tcu. I would really like to know how you can run an auto car with a P06 and resolve this issue.

I'm having my last customer that used a manual chipped p06 ecu on his stock auto with 450cc injectors chime in here and let you know what he did and how it all worked out.
