WOOT 1st post evar on a board. Did much lurking around though. Nice site!
I ran into a guy at this shop in my home town selling what he called "traction control bars". I have a few questions, since I am new here and a little bit skeptical of these actually working. Anywho, I have seen plety of import cars around town, but I think this guys claims might be off just a bit. Let me explain, I have a 93 ex with a h22 swap. not the fastes, but can hold its own.
Anyway this guy was talking about his car to a group where we all cruise and they all acted like he was god or something, so I just listende to him talk about his car. He claimed to have made this traction system that works for our cars only by helping stabilty and cutting down on wheel hop. My question is this possible? I looked at what appeared to be solid bars on his car, but don't know if this is a scam or not. My friends say his car is fast, but his claims seem to be very unrealistic for a 4dr accord. Has anyone here ever heard of a reason or need of a traction bar? Thanks in advance.
