Hi, I was wondering if anyone has actually used a DSM SMIC intercooler n mounted in the side of the bumper were a cold air intake would go? Ive herd that its pretty much sideways n if mounted where the battery is, it collects heat. Well wouldnt mounting it at the side of the bumper be a lot better as it wont b collecting barely ne heat n if u made a lil hole at the bottom of the bumper or cutting out the part where the fog lights go so at least some air will pass through be better even if its sideways? Also would using the Maremont or Marwil Prod. exhaust flex pipings be okay to use as intercooler piping or would they be a big problem if i used them? Please, I need some help as i have a DSM smic n am thinking of going cheap n using those exhast pipes. or if some one has an intercooler n piping for cheap, how much? If u wanna E-mail me back My Email is Skylinegtr103@yahoo.com you u post a message back to me on here. Thanks a lot

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

are u talking power wise??
if so..
1. ur f22b 14b setup..

Try out the SMIC. I would think you would have to direct flow to it whether by fans or ducting to keep Intake temps down but go for it. As for the tubing im not sure you can try using those silicone elbows but they run for quite a bit.
