ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Suspension help! Too low now! Running KYB Gr-2 with H&K springs

I am currently driving AccordAnimal's 92 ex until I can find a cb7 of my own(since my car crapped out on me). Anyways, he dropped the carusing KYB GR-2 struts and H&K springs. The suspension settled a lot, and I was just wondering what I could do to get the car back up a little. I was thinking of maybe getting some Tein S-tech springs? Any suggestions? Anyone else running a KYB GR-2 setup? What springs are you using? Thanks, I'm getting tired of having to go 10 miles an hour over railroad tracks, and avoiding roadkill as if it were the plauge. I swear, if I hit a raccoon I'll just keep pushing him, there's no way he's going to fit underneath the car

I know how you feel man. I had a NEX coilover system that was running wayy too low!
I recently switched to Tein H-tech springs and Tociko HP (blue) shocks.
The ride is soo smooth, but if you want to drive hard, the springs and shocks will take that too.
          I definately recommend this.
The Tein S-Tech's are a bit low, they advertise 2.00 " drop but is more like 2.5 after the springs settle.
The H-tech's on the other hand advertise 1.5" drop, but more like 1.75" after setteling.
          Enjoy

Switch to AGX struts. The AGX kills the drop and lets the car sit higher.

On non-AGX struts, Neuspeed Race will be too low still.

Plus the entire Nex setup was killing the car's chassie. Creaks and rattles everywhere.

I am planning to put them back on my CB& when I get another car and my CB7 takes over track duty.

Ah ok. I just thought you had them installed and were like "aahhh too low" and switched the whole suspension...

i have the kyb gr-2 and h&r springs the ride is way better than the ones it
had before it is real smooth now

the H&r sprinps are the oem springs about .75 but after settling
it was about 1.0 or 1.25 it ok with me i was going to get the sport springs
but i did not want to lower carmore than than because around
here there are a lot of dips.

u can also see me signature on how it looks
