ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Checked all the relays and connectors and everything seemed fine so Im gonna change the fuel pump. Ordered it today so when I get it and install Ill let you know if that was the problem.
If it ran fine all winter and your local shop says that "no fuel was getting to the engine". That is a classic sign to change the main relay and NOT order a new pump.

yeah I just put my new relay in monday and relocated it so it wasnt jammed up by the column and behind the cruise box. If you do replace the relay I suggest relocating it to a spot where it will get more airflow and stay cooler. been cold and rainy ever since I put it in so i cant tell for sure if te prob was fixed. Car def fires up better, idles, revs and whatnot. Soon as the weather gets hot and sunny I will repost.

Last summer my car was having a problem starting, once in a while, then it was more often, I made it start by sticking the key in and trying, if it didn't start , I would take out the key completely and stick it back in and it would start after several tries. Took it to my mechanic and he changed the fuel inj. relay, haven't had a problem since.

The problem is most probably your Main Relay. I had the same problem with my accord. Sometimes it would start fine, run good. If i stopped somewhere and turned it off. That would be it. It would not Start back up again.
Finally i got tired of it, and let the car sit for couple of month. I didn't want o sell it. Luckily i had a spare car. One day i decided to fix it.
I changed the fuel pump, but that didn't fix it.
So, i called the Honda dealer and they suggest i change my main relay. They also said it is a common problem with 1990-1993 Accords. And the also priced me $230 for a main relay. So, i went to the junk yard. Searched for an accord with low miles and pulled one from it. I paid $25 for it. And saved $205.
It is the main relay that signals the fuel pump before you start your Engine.
Your Fuel Pump pressurizes the system before start up.

Do this test; You will need one more person. Have someone get in the drivers seat with the key in the ignition. You, go to the rear left wheel area (drivers side). Have that person turn the IGNITION SWITHC "ON". Listen to see if the Fuel pump Turn "ON".
If you do (Hear the Fuel Pump Turn ON), it is your main relay.
If you don't it is your fuel pump.
            Good Luck man.

Will give an idea about how to replace it.

bro you should've checked the main relay before replacing the fuel pump, it would've saved you a lot of time
