starter wont start

my car wont start unless I bypass it directly from the battery to the starter

so logicaly, it's a switch. I checker de main relay(there is the click when I turn the ingnition on, from the relay), the clutch switch and my ignition is ok cause it's acting normaly but the starter wont start. I dont know what else to check, and all my fuse are ok

now I look like a crook every time I start my car since I start it under the hood

#9 on the mitsuba diagram (switch, magnetic)
#12 on the denso diagram (switch, magnetic)

usually cheaper to buy a rebuilt starter from the part store than try to replace only the solenoid on the cb7

you're saying that when I bypass the starter, it don't pass in the solenoid
I tought that when I bypass the starter, I tought I connected it to the solenoid (I'm a noob in mechanics)

Kinda creepy that our engines are that easy to start o.O...

If the car starts at all, your solenoid is probably in good condition. The solenoid pushes the pinion gear on the starter motor's shafter up against the ring gear on the flywheel. Since the engine starts, that means that the starter motor and the solenoid both work.

The culprit could be your ignition tumbler. The electrical circuit in between the key and the starter is pretty basic, so I can't think of a lot of places where things would go wrong. When you turn the key past II (the "on" position) to start the car, what happens?

everyting is normal except that the starter won't start. there is a ''click'' from the main relay

and when I bypass it, if I doesn't put my keys to ''on'' the engine won't start
