My fan hasnt been working for a while now and I was wondering how I can jump the fans to see if they work. And also how would you check the relay fuses? There in a metal case so would you have to use a DIGITAL MULTIMETER?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

ahhh...one fan does come on when I turn on the A/C but turns off in like 10 sec. then turns on again. The second one doesnt turn on at all. The second one I'm refering to is the one on the right side if u were sitting in the driver's seat.
Ok done checking, seems the right fan doesnt work at all.

Its really not that hard. Unplug the fan first, there is a 10 or 12 mm bolt on the bottom just loosen that you dont have to take it out all the way and take out the top bolts and pull out, There might be some stuff you have to move out of the way but yea thats basicallly it.

to jump your cooling fans, disconnect the 2 pin connector at the thermoswitch on the thermostat housing. cut up a paper clip so that you can stick each end of the paper clip into each connecter. then turn your ignition key on and see if it does come on or not. if it does then your thermoswitch is bad. if it doesn't you may have an open in the circuit or a bad motor. try this before you go replacing parts. good luckThe beginning of a new era............................

you can also test the radiator fan directly by splicing the two wires that go to the fan, and using some speaker wire to extend and connect to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. the fan should start on right away. if not check for faulty relay. if relay is good, then most likely the fan is no good. lates
