P28 Ecu (h22 Chip)???????????

I have a P28 with a Zif Socket and I need to know what kinda chip to purchase off ebay!!!!!!!!!
DO I purchase a P13 ecu CHip???????
Or do I purchase a P28 Ecu Chip??????????
I really need this info QUick I Bought an ECU from ebay and I bought a P13 Spoon Chip from ebay and as soon as I plug it in and turn the car on the CHeck engine light comes on and thecar runs like shit! Is it the chip or the ECU???????????????

p13 is the stock ECU in an h22, but a p13 cant be chipped or tuned so...

get a p28 and have it chipped (hondata, uuberdata, or chrome) and have it mapped for an h22. take it to a pro to be chipped

Yes it can, however many choose to go with the p28 route.

i've never heard of a p13 being chipped and i've always heard it cant be done (which may mean it's a complete whore to do) but either way i'd say go p28 or p06 made into a p28 ..

I have the P28 already Well actually its a P06 Turned P28 but it still the same.
Where is a good place online to buy a chipp from the ECU already has a ZIF socket I can change chips like nothing I just need a chip to run my H22.

it has to be mapped for the h22 man... call around to different speciallty honda shops and they should know what you want. i'd get it chipped with hondata or chrome, but its all about the maps so you dont run rich or lean and mess up your motah...

I bought a "skunk2 chip" off ebay for my p28 and a friend of a friend of mine chipped it. Plus a P13 is chippable just less people do it since its more of a hassle.

Ok so after much research I found a place that sold me a P28 chip (www.JDMSHIT.com) and I placed it in my converted P06/P28 and when I plugged it in the car idle great but the check engine light came on right away with code 22 (Vtec controller switch was not connected) OK so I know my accord is wired corrected with the Vtec because my p13 engages Vtec all the time. So I can only assume the P06 was not converted correctly? I check the ECU Schematic they sent me fro the website and all the right stuff seems to be in place on the board but I am having a friend of mine re-solder and clean the board again. My question is if you place a Vtec chip in lets say a non-Vtec ecu would this sound like something that could be the reason the light (code22) comes on?

Well the p06 - p28 conversion is somewhat popular i think they do it on pgmfi.org. I would just get the VTEC ECU right off the bat to prevent any hassles.

im running a p72 it actuautes the secondarys on the h22 intake the p28 doesn't,i plan on having it chipped with neptune though and then dyno tuned soon.
