Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Personally, i've never heard of matrix coilovers, and any coilovers and spring that is around 120 new is kind of crappy but oh well. For 120, i would go eibach or maybe Neuspeed springs.
For the KYB's im guessing for 39 bucks a piece, they are the Gr2
s, which are stock replacement struts, that are usually not recommended for lowered vehicles. I would suggest ebay for both springs and struts or on the site here in the classifieds. The KYB AGX's are a good strut for lowered vehicles and are only 300 shipped off of ebay.Audi A4 2.8 Quattro Sport

Yeah, no AGX will be $39 each... definitely GR2s... which aren't great, but better than old stock stuff.
I had a Matrix strut bar. I don't drive incredibly hard. I managed to bend the bar. I wouldn't buy another Matrix product. Ever. You're better off looking around on here for someone selling some used coilovers that are a better brand.

Matrix Racing is almost an Ebay brand. I havn't heard anything good about them, except they have nice 'racing' seats. A while back i got a Matrix Racing short ram air intake...threw it out after a month. They seem to make a lot of parts, rather than ONE GOOD product.
Try looking at some other more reputable brands like Neuspeed, Eibach, or Tein for springs. Kyb's ok...but for $39.00, I would be concerned. Try Tokico, Koni, or Bilstein.
If you are doubtful about a product, don't get it.
Have fun huntin'
...my 2 cents

Omnipower Skunk2 dropzone are some common brands for the coilovers. Shocks the agx's like everyone mentioned or koni yellows(but pretty expensive) red would work also.

I have Gold-Line springs (2 1/2" drop) on mine. They seem good but are alil bouncy on crappy roads (stock struts though). At highway speeds and just cruising on good roads they are pretty stable and not bouncy at all. Unfortunately they were on my car when I bought it and I haven't heard of this brand till I bought the car, but like I said, they SEEM good. I haven't had any other springs on any of my other cars or any suspension upgrades on them either (first time tuner). I checked their site and they don't even make these for cb-7s which leads me to beleive that they may be for an Integra, but, don't qoute me on that. Sorry for rambling on. Hope this helps in some miss-guided way."Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-Jack Daniels in one hand-chocolate in the other-body thoroughly used up-totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO!, What a Ride!

Tein H-tech springs with Tokico HP, or Koni red's...u r good to go.
Otherwise, if you have to change your suspension height and setup all the time....go with full coilovers: Tein SuperStreets (height and damper adjustable)
u don't want to be cheap with suspension, it may be dangerous.DEVOTE

im riding on koni reds and h&r springs...the ride is amazing...and lifetime warranty on my suspension...the setup is stiff but i want to go stiffer next year for curcuit tho...i definately recommend spending the money on quality suspension...
i wouldnt bother with those matrix coils....sleeve and spring coil overs offer a horrible ride and are just a cheap solution for height adjustment...stick with struts and springs or a true coilover setup...and i have to agree...for the money...tien springs are the best bang for your buck... only thing is they have fairly low spring rates...but theyre a good quality product
