ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    h22 swap help.

about to get an h22a swap soon and just confused on these things and thats all.

if the downpipe is too long to bolt directly into the cat what type of full exhaust or cat-back do you use that'll fit with no problem?

what kind of belt do you use for the power steering?

what prelude ecu will work with an auto h22?

You'll need an automatic P13 ECU.

I believe you can use the Prelude PS pump with the Accord bracket. You'll need a custom line (I think they sell the necessary stuff at Autozone) to get it to work. I may be wrong there though... wait till someone confirms that before you take my word!

The exhaust will need to be custom. Rumble into a muffler shop and have them weld something for you. I had the shop that did my swap weld a new flange on my piping, but it didn't last long at all (a month or two tops).

Also, if you need help at a fair price, h22sparkle is your man

I used the Prelude power steering pump with a full Prelude Si VTEC line, just a little bending at the bottom end and it fit. And as for exhaust, my Greddy header bolted up fine to the stock exhaust (since I ran the stock exhaust for a few weeks).

You can use the accord bracket with the h22 ps pump. The only difference is the bracket that holds the ps pump is only gonna have two screws holding it on. You can prob use the H22A ps bracket with the h22 pump but dont quote me on that. Why would you need an H22 Cat? It will bolt on to the stock cat just fine well mine did at least since i got an aftermarket header. USDM h22a downpipe will work also.
