ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I know you said your map and tps was diff but I had a guy bring a car to my shop that had the map and tps plug swaped and it done the same thing. If your postive there hooked up right try swaping map sensors. If you need a map I got a bunch laying around I could send you one and I may have a plug end

ECT (sensor directly under distributor) is GRN/WHT + YEL/GRN. TPS is YEL/WHT, RED/BLK + GRN/WHT. Fan switch (ECT switch A) on thermostat housing is BLK + BLU. Secondary fan switch (ECT switch B) on front water neck is WHT/GRN + BLK.

Is the map sensor connected like stock or have you done something different? Also thoroughly sand or file all engine bay grounds + surfaces to clean bare metal. I once helped a guy with an H22 swapped CB that ran like garbage and 80% of the issue was bad grounds.

grounds are good and map sensor is sendin the right v signal ill double check grounds tho you never know but it does idle good i mean i took it right off a running car.....so i know it has to be something very silly ill also double check the plugs on the map and tps thanks for the reply

update so i double checked all grounds and theyre good i also checked the tps sensor which is a round 3wire plug and the map is a rectangle 3 wire plug im using the stock accord map out the black box i left the stock h22 tps sensor on it because it had no issues when it was on the prelude, i unplugged the tps sensor and i got a cel for the tps so i plugged it back then i unplugged the map sensor and also got a cel for the map sensor which leads me to believe they are both in workin order and wired up correctly i changed the fuel pressure regulator and its still boggin when i press the gas i drive it for 5 to 10ft and it wants to shut off but when its at idle it sounds good and healthy...... im stuck to the point where idk what the problem is im still trouble shooting any ideas would greatly be appriciated thanks i also sanded down the ground contact points too for better connection and the tps is stock no modification

I'm lost on what could be wrong with out it in front of me if you got the old ecu from the f22 plug it up and see if it changes any thing only other thing I can think of is the distributor. And if you put a new timing belt on double check and make sure your timing is right

Does it still sound like it's backfiring through the intake? Is camshaft timing 100% spot on? Just 1 tooth off will make it idle okay but be a slug otherwise. Also do you still have your F22 distributor kicking around, I've seen people take all the F22 guts and put them inside the H22 distributor case. That could be worth a shot possibly. In your case the 92 CB and H22 are both external coil so that's good for swapping guts.

Update: I got it running a lot better with stp fuel injectors cleaner and I got the block box from the accord where map sensor is and I hooked up the other sensor that's in the box. When I finished with those two things the car bogged a lil less and drove very good at higher rpm i took off the spark plugs after running it for a while and it showed white tips not fouled from running lean how it was so I'm guessing the air fuel are burning right am going to work on getting a chipped pro with h22a basemap and see if that takes care of the boggin .... anyone has a p28 chippped for sale?

Are you certain you ran the vacuum lines correctly? This reminds me of when I did my F22b1 swap and tried to use the stock MAP sensor. It ran like shit until I corrected the vacuum lines, but even then it was off until I used the F22b1 map sensor with a conversion harness.

Please do not ask to buy things in this section. Phearable.net is a good source for a chipped and basemapped ECU.
