ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Turn Signal conundrum

Hey guys, me again. '91 DX Auto 4-DR. Today my issue is in the turn signals. At first if I barely moved the signal arm up to change lanes, I'd have to kind of jiggle the arm the other way to get the light on the dash to stop blinking, because it would be very dim and rapid. Now as soon as I turn the ignition on, the dash indicator starts flashing quickly and dim. The turn signal relay clicks like crazy. The right and left signals both still work as far as that's concerned. However, With the left signal on, the right front bumper mounted signal still flashes, very dimly. The rear right signal only comes on when you actually push the arm up to make a right hand turn, and goes off as soon as the wheel is returned to center.

Is this a relay problem or a switch problem? It's my understanding that on 90-95 Accords, you don't have to remove the wheel to replace the turn signal switch, so it wouldn't be difficult. I am just trying to gauge what my issue is before I start throwing parts at it.

    Thanks

You should try changing the flasher first, easy and cheap.

Turn your hazards on, if they work change the switch.

I clicked the hazard on and it works, although i thought that the hazards and turn signals used different relays. anyone know if there's a DIY posted on here for replacing the switch?

Remove the screws from below that hold the column cover on. Remove the cover. Turn the wheel to access the two (if I remember correctly) screws that attach the switch to the column. Disconnect electrical connector. Installation is reverse.
