h23 and f22 headers are interchangeable. h22 headers don't fit F-series at all.

Except the H23 header that he posted is for the H23A, not the H23A1... H23A essentially has an H22A head, which is why I asked which one.

F22A or H23A1 are what will fit your engine. There are MANY companies that make headers for both engines. Sadly, all but Bisimoto are rather generic in design, and won't give much in the way of gains. Bisimotos header has a good deal of engineering put into it, meaning your local pipe bender isn't going to make a piece that is as effective. Unfortunately for Bisimoto (and his customers), the manufacturing quality of their headers is sub-par... making them not worth the price. Not even half the price, IMO.
The cheap header brands you'll find on eBay will be about as effective as any of the pricier things like DC Sports. The only real difference is build quality. If you want the most gain for the least amount of money, add a larger merge collector to a DC Sports header.

I installed the Bisimoto header on my F22A. I am very happy with the power it produces - my motor essentially matched the power from a stock H22A with just a level 1 Web cam, cam gear, H23 intake, a bit of head work, and a good tune. But the header build quality was horrible. I had the downpipe welded to the header to prevent leakage (the slip joints didn't line at all) and the downpipe was 10 degrees off of pointing straight towards the back of the vehicle. The muffler shop had heat up the end of the downpipe and bend it to keep it from interfering with the frame rails. Fortunately, I bought it used for $550 and it had the ceramic coating, but the custom welding and bending added another three hundred dollars to the cost.
