ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Is your goal more form over function, a balance of both or function or form? See we don't know anything about you. You may be very well skilled or just starting on this road of empty wallets and depleting bank accounts.

My first thing would be to make the car reliable. Build a solid foundation to build on and then modify the car. You'll have less headaches and more fun with the car in the future.

Looks: Your best bet would maybe go through the MRT section and just start reading/viewing their mods. The Accords of the month are probably some of the better documented examples. You ultimately have to decide what feels right for you. Rather than all of us blurting out mods.

Performance: Really again depends what feels right to you. Mild/Mid/High NA, Turbo and Super Charge are all options.

A better question may have been "what mods did you find most beneficial and still happy with. Or what mods did you regret."

K series swaps can be expensive and difficult to do. Read the following re K20 information. A pretty good discussion was had in this thread.

As for f/h series turbo and NA setups try viewing the rides on the following threads.

24 year old car with 300k miles and rust on the body in Michigan.......... no swipes I would save money to buy another car. For all the money you are going to have to put into it you can just get something else.

For example it would be cheaper for you to buy a K-equipped car than swap it in your CB. A 7th gen 4 banger Accord goes for like $5-7K now and will hold up much better than your CB. And it has the K in it. And doesn't weigh much more than a CB. Couple of cheap mods (TSX intake manifold, race header and bigger exhaust) will net you some nice power. Car won't be as prone to rust. You won't be spending thousands and thousands trying to keep it on the road.

Your video was set to private. Best place to start looking for rust is back by where the rear wheel well and bumper meet.

That's some pretty extensive rust. If it were me and I really had my heart set on a cb7, I'd find a cleaner shell to work with. Without proper rust repair, you're looking at having that rust return in only a few short months. If you can afford proper rust repair, you're looking at spending way more money and time then that car will ever give back. I know modding is kind of a one way street once the money is spent, but why spend more than you have to? I hope you are able to make something work, good luck.
