ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    mystery cylinder head on f22a6

So I've been wanting to identify my cylinder head because I recently found out that I dont have the dual runner intake manifold. I have an f22a6 and someone on here told me to look for a PT6 stamping on the cylinder head and after a careful inspection I cannot find any "PT" stamping anywhere on my cylinder head. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't ? I was looking over the exhaust ports so may I have been looking in the wrong place ? Any suggestions would help, thanks

I would respond, but I realized I already responded to your other thread asking the same question. So yeah... read that.

Yes I understand what you're talking about, but people installing an a6 cam and springs is a very common upgrade which is not what I was asking about, my goal is to have a complete f22a6 engine, so what you replied to on the other thread doesn't answer the question I asked in this one. If you have any information as to how I can identify the cylinder head itself please let me know, thanks.

There are two types of F22A cylinder heads. There is the '90-'91 variant that does not have a small mounting boss for an external coil. And then there is the '92-'93 which does. That's it. Nothing else is different between the F22A1/3/4/6/7/8/9, or even the SOHC F20A. Nothing at all. There are different springs and camshafts, but that's it. Any manifold that will bolt up to an F22A6 head will also bolt up to an F22A1 head.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

Exactly. Same valve orientation, same port design... aside from that mounting boss, the heads are 100% identical.
Which is what I said (aside from that mounting boss) in your previous thread.
