ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Removing Srs

So i removed my srs unit from my 92 Accord Ex.
Airbag, unit under the dash, and disconnected the yellow plugs going to fuse box. Now my car is not geting any fuel. Im assuming this was my problem why my car wont start. When i put my key in the on position theres no cel whatsoever(usually comes on for 2 seconds and turns off) Does this mean my ecu isnt getting power?

No nothing but I'm getting spark. Tried a new main relay still nothing, tested main relay connection everything was good. Tested continuity between the thermostat ground and ecu pins a23,a24,a26 and b2 thinking it was a ground but the grounds are good. Tried the jumper method from the relay plug fuel pump came on but no squirt from injectors.

Its the ECU that tells the injectors to squirt. So if you can make the fuel pump come on and you are building pressure to the fuel rail (check via the fuel banjo bolt or fuel filter bolt) then the pump is working, which is good.

Not having the fuel pump come on when the it should normally all points back to the ECU or main relay. This could also be a fuse issue. Have you checked all of your fuses?

Which yellow plugs going to the fuse box?

Not sure if this car has a failsafe where it cuts fuel in case of accident. If so, is it possible the car is thinking its been in one and has cut fuel?

Yea pump works forsure, gas squirts right out that banjo fitting. Tried the main relay too, solder the old one which was not bad 2 solder points looked like they had nothing on them. Then i tried a new main relay nothing no buzzing or clicking from either relay. As for fuses they all checked out good even got a volt meter and tested the contacts with out the fuses. Also i did remove my abs dont know if that makes a difference?

Where the kick panel is by your feet there is a yellow plug connected to the fuse box, was a pain in the ass to remove lol
Thats what im thinking like i messed up removing my Srs unit causing it to think its been in a wreck.

Yeah cause im pretty sure airbag sensor ties into ignition/fuel components. Time for wire diagram

Unless you will be using the car for strictly track conditions, there is no need to yank the bags...i have only the passenger bag, have the driver side removed because aftermarket wheel.

That wasn't helpfull. Will removing the airbag cause the car to not start?

I'm not entirely sure on the CB's, but the EG Civics had a completely stand-alone SRS harness, so pulling the SRS stuff out shouldn't disable anything else. You may have jarred another nearby plug loose.

As far as i am concerned, it should not...have a look at your inside harness, you may have pulled your ignition harness which could cause this issue. Lay down under the wheel and insure everything is still connected...also another note: if you have a manual, you should wobble the stick a good bit, then give it a go...
