ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Main relay pinout scheme

Anyone come across this before? I have a 92 DX that someone has obviously been underneath (car's got squirt!), but it's sudden refusal to start after running fine and then getting really wet inside, suggests the main relay.

So I pull it and search here, find this pic linked, but in order to test, the pinout assignments on the tech page don't match the numbers on the relay itself.

I went ahead and ran the test exactly as it's shown on the page below, 2nd picture, with 0 response audio or electrical, but until I know for sure I had the pins right I can't say for sure the relay is bad.

Hope again that makes sense, lemme know if I can clarify. BTW first post here (duh) but this looks like a great resource; we just scored this car but it's not gonna fly for work purposes, but I bet it'll be a great SCCA autox ride

The indicated assignments on the relay itself are sequential, like:
    86b2
    7531

vs. (see it shows basically two different layouts, not sure why?)

edit: I meant to add the relay is an RZ-0088. thx

I realize that's a little convoluted up there, in short what I see on the relay as far as pin assignments, isn't what they're showing up there. I did the test like shown above the best I could, but not sure if it's enough to really rule out the relay.

Maybe I'm just over thinking it.

I'm pretty close to just swapping it out, but money is beyond tight atm. Guess I gotta do what I gotta do.

If anyone in the east SF bay knows where I can get a known-good relay for a 92 F22a accord, I'd be obliged..
