ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    marker light turn signals

are the marker light turn signals tied into a different fuse? the ones in my bumper work fine. but both sides in the marker lights dont work. ive changed bulbs and sockets. and cut the wires back and wired in a new socket and still dont have anything. got tired of messing with it for the day. ill be looking at fuses tomorrow maybe. everything but my cigarette lighter and dome light work. are they all tied together?

i dont believe the marker lights should blink. just the ones in the bumper.

unless you mean your marker lights do not illuminate at all

in that instance you need to do some electrical diagnosis. see which is missing from the circuit, power or ground. look at wiring diagrams, to find which fuse is in control of that circuit, etc. do your parking lights work otherwise? i.e, in the rear?

yea, all my other lights on the outside work. i find it odd that there are bulbs that dont light up with the parking lights or blink with the turn signals. theres gotta be a reason there are bulbs there...

its the ones that would be in the orange area. the ones in the clear area work fine. i think they blink on my dads car.

Their names are "corner lights" and "bumper lights" to keep the confusion down.

The corner lights are supposed to illuminate and blink via two 194/168 type bulbs per side.

The bumper lights are turn signals only.

I made a brief video to demonstrate a properly working set of turn signals.

*Note my corner lights a LED's and I also have DEPO amber corner and bumper lenses so they may look different that yours. They may even flash in a different sync that mine.

well now that we have a technical term for them. why dont the corner lights blink? i would imagine that they would be tied to the bumper lights. but they work. i have bulbs out of the bumper lights right now but that shouldnt have anything to do with them. when i had the bulb in the drivers side bumper light the corner light didnt work.

false, also where is the interior fuse box? passenger or drivers side?

the corner lights are tied in with the dome light. dome light fuse is out in the engine compartment. also the windshield washer bottle motor is ran through that fuse as well.

i do need an icu though as that controls intermediate wipers, rear defrost, and i believe the cigarette lighter. from what ive read those things not working is due to the icu. and mine works when it wants to. anywhere to buy one of those new?

The interior fuse box is located by your left foot as you sit naturally in the drivers seat of the vehicle. By the foot rest with a twist style "knob" to release the cover thus exposing the fuse panel.

                  False? Are you on drugs?

Indisputable fact is the icu controls whether the corner signal lights blink in sync with other turn signals when lights are off or out of sync in when lights are on.

Fuse 22 underhood power dome light, part of icu, cig lighter, door lights, trunk light, and power ant.

Fuse 1 under dash powers the part of the icu that controls the corner light blinkers

add corner lights to fuse 22 then, because they are directly related.

can you site somewhere that lists whats on each fuse? if not im just going to disregaurd your information. what i did invalidates fuse 1. unless the underdash box is wired to fuse 22. your information may be for a different year.
