Hi I have a 93 accord and my d4 light on my cluster has started blinking... I read up and saw shift solenoid might be the problem but I changed it with a new one and still gets d4 light .. Can it be anything else ?

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Keep reading and searching and you will find how to check the codes and eventually find out it is actually your TCU that burned out. The longer you drive it in this condition the more damage you will do. Your car is in limp mode most likely and it will be wearing on only 2nd and 3rd gear's clutch packs.
Other symptoms might include but are not limited to:
Shifter not wanting to shift from park position
Slow acceleration from a stop
High RPMs at 70mph
Feels like it only has two gears
Kicks in and out of overdrive

I was troubleshooting a high idle when warm today.
