Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Help needed... back lights staying on....

    I have a 1991 Honda Accord EX. When I got home, I noticed that the back lights were still on. I have read that on the brake pedal there is a plastic plug that the brake light switch hits against. It broke off and the lights stay on. I did find the pieces.

    I went and looked at the fuse box on the interior lower left but they are hard to get to and I can't figure out which one I need to take out so that the lights go out.

    Could someone tell me which fuse I need to remove.

    Check the brake light switch. It's common for the stopper breaking after so many years. Leaving the switch nothing to push against. The image is for a different car but our cb7 looks very similar. I believe the little plastic piece will either be white or blue. If it is the pad some will just insert something handy in the car like in the post below.

      In the meantime, to prevent the battery going flat just disconnect the earth lead. Sorry I don't know which fuse to pull without searching for it, too busy...

        Do it right and call your local Honda dealer and get the brake light switch button. It will only cost you 1.63 and usually arrives within 2 days to your local dealer. Do it right the first time and call it done. It will take a few seconds to install the part yourself. I've had people tell me on the fb version of cb7tuner tell me to just at two quarters and glue them on. Sorry but that's not how I go. Buy the part from your dealer and call it done.

          I used a bolt and some lock nuts, I would buy the OEM rubber as well if I had to do it again.
