The 160ish horsepower JDM B20A for the 3rd gen Accord, nearly impossible to find now. But your right, I forgot about that one. Probably because it's more of a legend now days. USDM there there isn't a B20A in the 3rd gen though.
I still see the B20 VTEC just like all the other Civic & Integra engines. Because that's really what it is. B20, B18, different but still yet much similar in comparison than the B20B to the F20B or F20A.
They are also engineered for very different cars.
You wouldn't drive an Accord the same with a B18C in it as you would an H22. I just don't see it as ever feeling right. At all. It seems normal to wrap a Civic hatch way up and not make much power down low. That doesn't feel right in the Accord. The F20B for instance, I have rode in a CD5 with the F20B and it didn't feel right. It needed to be revved higher and felt unnatural. The B20 VTEC would likely be like this even more so.
I still don't see the power, power range, or really anything ideal about a B18 or B20 VTEC in CB. It seems like it would be all around kinda screwy.
It's all speculative I guess. Since it's never been done before. At least to our knowledge.
