New NTK in car .. problem solved

(on a side note.. I was really tempted to buy a few other o2 sensors from rockauto, they have a close out on "standard" brand o2 sensors for 17$ a piece lol another get what you pay for situation likely )

I dont think i would trust a $17 o2 sensor. I use denso or ntk myself. They are more in price but the car runs better. Mine had a bosch when i got it and it even gets better mpg now with the denso.

I drilled a hole in the gas cap and dumped some seafoam in it and it fixed the problem.

It was an idea that my dad had. I really dont know what the reasoning was, but it did work.

Only thing that came to mind is an excess of amount of pressure building in the tank maybe? So did he just drill it straight through the middle? and what size - 1/16,7/64, 1/8, 1/4?

And hopefully you dont smoke, the tank venting fumes out of the "new hole" on a hot day could be somewhat dangerous..
