ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

F23 swap into 92 accord

They also click in reverse. If you know they are going bad you should address that as quickly as possible. A snapped axle can teat apart a clutch, flywheel, and transmission. Depending on the scenario, you could end up in a pretty bad accident.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq

I just thought of something. Maybe the stock exhaust system in the cb7 isnt big enough in diameter to handle the f23 swap. Im thinking when my car gets up to temp that my whole exhaust system is getting heat soaked and causing that cracking/popping noise. Sure the f23 is only 98 cc's bigger but hey who knows, weirder things have happened. I almost want to cut off the stock muffler just to see if it will help it breathe better.

That is not your issue at all.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

I think I figured it out. The stock cb7 exhaust ID is 1.75" while the 2000 accord LX which my motor is out of has 2.25" ID piping. Yes the bigger motor coupled with the smaller pipes should raise the exhaust gas velocity but maybe my cat or muffler are keeping the velocity down and trapping the heat in. I dont know this is driving me nuts.

If your exhaust is making a clicking noise, its probably just the heat transfering from the pipe to the heat shield. Mine does this as we speak cause it rubs and I can hear it clearly both when at idle and when the car is off. Its a clicking noise. Its just he metal contracting and expanding though and is nothing to worry about.
I just put an F23 short block in my wagon. I'm in awe at the difference in power it has brought with it. But I have no speedometer at the moment so I don't know exactly how much better it is, LOL. It just feels a lot more powerful. It sounds much different too.Last edited by Mishakol129; 05-15-2014, 08:56 PM.“Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you.”
