Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Power door locks not working on both sides

    So I'm purchasing another cb7. I just have 1 issue I'd like resolved before I purchase it. The power door locks do not work from the driver or passenger side. The owner says he replaced the modules and this did not fix it. I would just like to know in the worst case scenario what might need to be done to fix this issue.

          I have the same problem with my driver side rear door. Haven't had the time to look at it yet. Hopefully it's something like a loose connection after someone reinstalled the door panel

            No noise at all. So does that mean it's not the actuator?

              Check the relay/fuses in the underhood fuse box

                It might be the box in the driver door not sure what that specific box is called but my car had a similar issue that was fixed by replacing that specific part. I got it at a pick a part for a few bucks

                  Is it the driver's switch? or another part in the driver's door?

                    It's behind the driver side door panel. It's above the speaker. One you take the door panel off you'll see the box

                      My guess would be that door lock control box as said above; if you can get a spare one for cheap enough then just swap it out, but sometimes they can be repaired - If you know how to solder or know somebody who can you can open it up and the most common problem will be where the loom plugs into the unit the tracks or solder joints will be broken, same thing happened to my clock, caused by vibration over 20+ years or somebody being rough while inserting/removing the plug connector.
