What's up people? I'm new to this forum so bare with me. I have a 91 Accord SE and this problem just started a few days ago. I was driving & it's almost like power was just pulled from the motor, like it shut off. Dash lights and all still stay on but wen I try to crank it back up it won't start. I can let it sit for a few min and it'll crank back up but die again a few min later. It's not like it stumbles or anything before it happens, it just dies with no warning. I've replaced the fuel filter & the main relay. Any help would be much appreciated dudes, thanks.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

what you need to do is when this happens start tasting and see if fuel , spark . no spark more then likely icm . no fuel more than likely you're main fuel relay . test first then post you;re findings .this was put together by evil_demon_01 . You can also fined all this and more by him in the Common Beginner Technical Info can be found in here. PLEASE READ HERE FIRST

It's a vital little part. About as big as a matchbook, but it's basically the core of the ignition system. It doesn't simply stop producing spark, causing the stalling; what happens is that when the ignitor is reaching the end of its useful life, it occasionally doesn't produce sufficient spark to keep combustion going. That's why you can be rolling along just fine, and suddenly stalled.
As the other poster said, the main relay is also a possibility, but if everything else is in tune, I say the symptoms point to the ignitor.

I really appreciate all of y'all's input, usually people won't even take the time to help people ya know so I just wanted to say thank you. And I've replaced the fuel filter & the main relay-didn't know if I said that in previous post. Car is really drivin the piss outta me trying to figure out what the problem is. I pulled the dizzy cover off just to look in there but idk how to get the rest of it apart. I'm about $100 into this problem already and am about ready to set fire to it. What makes me think it's NOT the fuel pump is that the car will crank but after running a few min it'll just die when it gets to good operating temp then I have to let it sit for a bit.

take a screw driver and pull the top then bottom and wiggle it off. You will work it through. And check for the screw/bolt. If you see an empty hole then you know there is no screw/bolt.
I didn't see it, but did you see if you have spark when its not starting?
Also is your check engine light on? I seen this issue before being the coolant temp sensor on cars like ours. DONT JUST CHANGE It. Test it before you do.What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
