I looked at almost every thread on multiple forums about this swap so I'm pretty much confident but I just wanted to have a few things cleared up. I'm staying drum in the rear for now, discs are hopefully to follow eventually.
I'm going to the junkyard this month and as far as I know I can get these bolt-on parts from the following cars, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Front knuckles can be from:
00-02 Accord EX V6 (stamped S5)
95-98 Odyssey
~00-03 3.2TL (stamped K6)
Rear hubs can be from:
97-01 Prelude
95-98 Odyssey
Now what I'd like to know is about the drums. I know the DIY calls for CRV rear drums, but these are virtually non-existent in the junkyards around here. Can I use Odyssey drums since all the other parts are compatible? Or does anybody know of another 5-lug Honda with drums that'll fit the CB?
Also, does anybody know if the 3.2CL uses the K6 knuckle, just in case I don't find a TL?
If not I'll check the cars themselves at the JY later this month, but I just want to be armed with all the info when I do this and not end up having the car stuck on jackstands in the middle of the swap.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
