ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Wire Harness?

Okay i have a 92 ex coupe with a f22b2 from a 94 ex coupe. I redone my heads and i found that a few plugs were cut from the harness and missing. I want to replace the whole harness but what harness do i need? 92 or 94 engine bay harness? any help is appreciated!

The harness shouldn't really matter. Stick to the 92 harness, and add wires if necessary (to my knowledge, the F22B2 doesn't need anything extra...)

Also, the F22B2 should be from a DX or LX, not an EX. The EX had the F22B1, which is VTEC.

Okay thanks. And the timing belt cover says 94 accord ex. the jy could have marked it wrong or something. so mine being an ex should have a vtec plug in the harness correct?

If its a b1 it says vtec on the valve cover. The next place to look is on the block it will say f22b1 or f22b2. Did you buy the car with the swap? You should look into what ecu you are running. If it is a b1 you might have more work in front of you.

I know i have a f22b2. i meant was the stock harness in my car a vtec harness from factory because its an ex. I have the correct ecu. i already checked that. and i bought it with the swap in it already. i redone the head and had it port and polished with all new gaskets. also i swapped to a internal coil dizzy. while doing so i noticed wires where missing and plugs were broke or missing.

no, the 92 ex wire harness is not wired for vtec.
