ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Suspension faults

    Hey guys.

I just got my car on the road today and I noticed it has a repetitive kind of click/thus noise coming from the passenger front. It's not like a cv joint when taking a corner, it is there permanently. The car also pulls to the right. I don't have a jack handy and was just wondering what you guys might think it is.

It could be nearly anything. Maybe a sway bar end link, a bad tie rod, you name it. You're going to have to get under your car and look. It's not like you're going to purchase parts based on our guessing anyway. Get under there and do your own investigating. You're the only one who can actually see what's going on under the car.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

take it to a shop to get looked at if you don't have the basic tools to do so safely. All we can do is speculate.

Could even be something stuck in your tire!

You're gonna have to get under there and look. The best we can say is "there's something wrong with your suspension, tires, or axles"... and that much, you already know.

I used my roommates jack that looked like it was from the 1800's and gut the front wheels off today. Both front tires have a bit off wear on the inside. I did the 9-3 & 12-6 wiggle test with the wheel on the ground and off the ground and nothing felt out of the norm. There was n wiggle. I'm wondering if the front end is just misaligned or the belts in the tires have shifted. I will be checking around for a good alignment shop here in Brampton.

That's entirely possible. If you don't know how old the tires are, or how long it's been since the wheels were aligned... it's time to hit the tire shop!

You got that right. Going to go to active green & ross tonight and book an appointment.

Did you end getting this fixed? Was wondering if you discovered what the problem was?

He hasn't logged on since November. The car is probably a soup can by now.
