ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Have you bled the coolant via the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing?

We are way past that now. Its determined that it lopes due to the more aggressive cam profile.

And yes I did via the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing.

I have an A6 and it doesn't lope and I didn't see where you actually confirmed it had a regrind other than suspicion in the thread. Did you remove the dizzy and look at the end of the cam? Where there any markings on the cam itself to identify it as a regrind?

Got a photo of the cam?

Also when I put the H23 plenum and an IAB spacer on my car it idles a bit like it lopes... just throwing that out there.

I think maybe you should reread the thread. All that is in here I promise.

As for a pic of the end of the cam I don't have a photobucket account and i just got done with the ignition timing. When I get around to making an MRT I will have some pics but I don't have any of the end of the cam because I thought it was a regular A6 camshaft.

I also have functional IABs. No spacer.

              I have functional IABs too.

Sorry, I missed where you said it was a 272.

                No problem.

I was under the impression that the item below was an IAB spacer. And if so one would either not have functional IABs due to the IAB plate and butterflys being removed or they would have double stacked a spacer with the IAB plate and butterflys.

Double stacked with longer bolts. Adds length to the runners. H22/H23 plenum is a larger volume plenum than the A6 plenum too and the throttle body is a nice addition as well.

Here is an example (not my intake and appears both plates are non-functional):

Also look here for stacked with functional IABs (also not my intake):

Thanks for the information. I'm looking for more modifications to do before I go and have it tuned. I think I'm just going to stick with my H23/A6 setup as far as the intake manifold.

Friday morning I'm going to order an Apexi WS2 catback, Magnaflow direct fit catalytic converter and a red AEM short ram intake. That should do the trick before having it tuned.

As for gauges I just ordered a Glowshift 94-01 Integra A pillar gauge pod and AEM digital gauges. I got the UEGO wideband, oil pressure and oil temp gauges. I already have the oil filter sandwich adapter for the oil gauges.

So I should be ready to go have it tuned by the end of next week when I'm on vacation.

I contacted Humble Performance about that ECU. They record the number on the ECU I guess so they had the info on hand. I will not be able to just plug it in because the car it came from had high compression and some other stuff done that I don't have.

Its an older S 100 Hondata as well. But they can still tune on it no problem.

I need a wideband in order for them to tune it. I already ordered an AEM one and it should be here friday. Along with AEM digital oil press and temp.
