ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

93 LX Coupe auto Trans not shifting correctly.

First, I want to thank everyone here for taking the time to read my posts. I know there was a thread started on my exact issue but it really was no help at all. Buy the way. I'm posting this from my iPod.

My D4, all the way to 1, lights are blinking. When they started blinking I noticed my car would only take off in second then I put it in dive and it goes to third and that's it. No other gears.

This just happened to me today on my way from work. Fluid levels and good and no codes are being thrown. When I opened the hood I did hear some clicking coming from the Trans. Any help would be great.

Thanks again to all my fellow CB7 lovers.

    Is your D4 light blinking?
If so, it is throwing out a code.

Read the code before assuming the TCU was shot.
If the other thread on this topic was of no help, then you're screwed... because that's what the answer to that question was too. Read the damn code. Fix the problem. Done.

Sorry... I didn't know if the light was blinking that meant it was throwing out a code but then again you did mention that in the other thread. How do I read the code? Do I need to get a code reader?

Thanks. I followed the link and it helped. I'm going to the car now to check it.

That link is also in the thread marked "read here first"... clearly, nobody ever does.

Well. I went to the car this morning and nothing. I put the car in reverse to get out of the driveway. Put it in D4 and normal. Nothing. Like nothing happened. No blinking. No stuttering. Jumping. Nothing. The car took off like normal. I don't get it.

                        You're car is trolling you.

Try pulling a code. As long as you didn't disconnect the battery, if there was a code thrown before, it'll be stored. Even if the D4 isn't doing anything now, it'll flash a code if there was one showing recently.
