Ok so I have a 1993 accord lx (parts car) and I got a 1992 accord lx ( 5spd, just recently purchased.). And I love the oem wing it came with, I really wanna swap it over, so my main question would be, would there be any troubles with the installation? I already have removed the wing, I just wanted to see if anyone had any troubles and experience. Thanks !!

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

LX models didn't com with a wing from the factory, so it was likely a dealer option, or installed by a previous owner.
You could also just swap trunk lids if the color is the same (or if you just want to repaint...)
You'll need to drill holes in the wingless trunk lid. Be sure you have everything matched up carefully. I'd use the old lid to take very careful measurements.
I've never installed a wing, or even removed one from a CB7... but I'm assuming there are rubber/foam gaskets where the wing meets the trunk lid. I would suggest buying new gaskets to ensure there are no leaks. You can likely find them from a Honda dealership (a special order product, I'm sure), or from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com (which IS a Honda dealer, technically... but they're well known for providing a very wide selection of OEM parts via the internet.)

Its not very complicated. On the wingless trunk lid, on the edge underneath there are 4 spots that look like spotwelds. Those are the sport you drill for the outer holes. The 2 middle holes you will need to measure out to make sure you get the right spot.
There are 2 separate wiring harnesses as well for the wing to work right. There is a brake light harness that installs inside the trunk lid, this is for the 3rd brake light on the wing to work
Second, there is a relay harness attached to the antenna. This lowers your antenna when the trunk is opened, otherwise the edge of the wing hits the antenna. Simple to swap over, its all plug and play.
