ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Im missing my underhood radio fuse

Today I discovered I was missing a single fuse under my hood, It is labeled 7.5amp "Radio" on the fuse box cover. When I put the fuse back in, my seat belt moves to the forward position on the passenger side when i open the door, but wont go back when i close it. Drivers side doesn't move at all. My interior lights only come on when i open my drivers door, with or without the 7.5amp "radio" fuse. I cant drive around with the seat belt forward, so the fuse will remain out of the car for now. Someone said that Honda has a lifetime warranty on their seat belts, i might go have that looked at. In the meantime, what does that 7.5amp radio fuse do OTHER than the seat belts?

The interior lights aren't on the 7.5 backup fuse. Check the little slides in the doorjams by the latch for functionality...not that it's the definite fix for your issue but I had a bad one on my wagon and it fixed my interior light problem.

Before i get really really excited here... It also says that fuse 39, which is what im missing, powers the ECU, clock, TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE, and my stereo.... I cant tell if my ECU is jacked up, cuz idk what to look for, but my clock doesnt work, and my trans shifts funny, but my radio works. do you think that fuse could be jackin my bike? in terms of my trans shifting wierd and my clock not working? sorry to get off topic here but i think you just answered a really big issue i have been having.

EDIT: Its labeled as 24 on this diagram.

Are you talking about the Radio (backup) fuse? The red one in the upper right corner?

Yes, that fuse is gone. Its function is the clock, radio, ECU, and TCU right?

Not sure about TCU but DEFINITELY the ECU, and it holds the engine "settings" in memory. Would explain some of your issues.

On 5spd5drCB's picture he posted, fuse 24 (looks like that's the fuse im missing) controls the ECU, TCU, CLOCK, and the radio/stereo. If that fuse is missing, would that explain my 4k rpm 4th gear max speed of 90? or the slipping from 3rd to second gear (as in downshifting to second from 3rd), or the random downshifts making my car hit 5000 rpms when i barely give it gas (very rare). What else could this missing fuse do?? Please Tell me more I haven't tried replacing it then driving, because it jacks with my seat belts. (makes sense if it controls the ECU) I need to bring my car to Honda real quick and figure my seat belt issue out. when i plug that fuse in only my passenger side seat belt moves forward, then refuses to come back. and driver side doesn't move at all XD

Why dont you just put fuses in the spots that are missing and see how she runs? They are meant to be there for a reason.-

I agree. I'm just a little weary about this seat belt issue. I have Tuesday off. This might entitle a trip to a Honda dealer. I heard through the grape vine that Honda warranties the seat belts for life. think they will charge me to just look at them?

They have a recall/warranty, but it only covers a certain portion of the seat belt. And I THINK it has to do with the part thats broke on yours, don't quote me though. No, they should look at it for free.

Well that's good to know, Ill give them a call tomorrow probably and ask them about it. A friend said they will try their best to not have to fix it. What should I do to prevent this? Print out a recall or something?

They know what it covers. They WILL replace it if its covered under the recall. People think its the ENTIRE set belt system, it's not.

Sweet, I just sent the closest Honda dealership an email telling them what I drive and what its doing, i told them that I read about a recall and was wondering if they would look at the car, free of charge. Lets see what they say. If not there is a 1-800 number that i can call. Some sort of Honda service line.
