ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What do you want with a P12? Are you doing engine mods/swap? Going turbo?1993 SE Coupe MRT - 1992 LX Sedan MRT

thanks! and i was just doing some reading on the forums, and a lot of people were talking about using the P12 ecu for the cb. They said it has a more aggressive tune, and it will work fine because the f22 is the same as the one in the prelude.
F22A1: 125 hp (93.21 4 kW) @ 5200 rpm. (Accord DX, LX). The 1992–1996 Prelude S had a F22A1 but because of a different more aggressively tuned ECU (P12), the power output was 135 hp (100 kW).Last edited by michael6593; 12-21-2012, 01:02 PM.

Generally they pair that tune with engine mods to truely take advantage of it. If you want a real tune get a P06 chipped and tuned by a tuner. One tune for one motor may not work the same on another nearly identical motor.
I don't think the gain in HP is just from a tune. Now if you can get the intake and full exhaust from the prelude you might notice the tune.1993 SE Coupe MRT - 1992 LX Sedan MRT

Those 2 (depending on brand) probably give u about 2-5 horsepower. I know password jdm has a power chamber intake that gives a proven 7hp increase through its design. Not sure if anyone has fit one on a cb7 tho. Ebay SRI & an ebay full exhaust probably gives about 5 more or less.1993 10th Anniversary MRT

"Where can I find..." is not allowed here. All it takes is one jackass to say "I'll sell you mine" and you're both permanently banned. Go to a junkyard. You can generally get one for $15-$30.
And Bill, the P12 will give roughly 10hp over the PT3. Mods will most likely make it less effective (such as an H23 manifold, or A6 camshaft.) The difference in intake and exhaust piping on the Prelude is negligible. The majority of the power is indeed from the ECU. It's one of the few true plug and play "OEM" upgrades you can do.
It is ONLY effective on an F22A1 or F22A4, not the F22A6.
